While not perfect it is extremely entertaining for a handheld nostalgia in cutesy form factor that fits perfectly in your pocket!
I own an r36s. I'd say that the r36s device (huge in comparison, the screen is only a bit smaller than the GKD PIXEL 2) is comparable to the GKD PIXEL 2 in many ways. Both can use some form of emulationstation as a backend. Also, they share a chipset if I'm not mistaken, but I could be. Both play up to PS1, PSP, NDS, N64 games, which is probably more of a catologue than any living human will ever need.
I'm surprised to say, but the GKD PIXEL 2 outplays the r36s by a mile, despite having the same exact catalogue and very similar specs. N64 is always a bit spotty with devices like these, and it is still slightly with the GKDP2, but overall better. The device, despite being more compact than my alternative pick, the r36s, is more accurate at displaying battery, more fluid with menu mappings, and more fluid with emulation. The only downfall is the lack of a stick prevents N64 and PSP from reaching true potential. But it's better than choppy 30fps.
I would say the performance, outside of the control setup, is very similar to that of a raspberry pi 4b running retropie, for any giganerds.
Also, I must clarify, I did NOT use LITNXT's stock MicroSD card nor the stock OS that it runs, which I believe is Rocknix (???). I used PlumOS on a PNY 64GB card. PlumOS is pretty good, but if you compare it to something like OnionOS for Miyoo Mini Plus and V4, you see it lacks things like the menu pausing into a save state. But it really does have all that there is to be needed to play your favorite games. I personally find this to be a great emulator for my DS games, like FFIII and LEGO Star Wars II. The guide to install plum is here.

Tldr it is soooo good for what I need it for.
PS I had the best experience with LITNXT getting mine shipped, despite delays. They gave me more than I asked for and I appreciate that.
The GKD Pixel 2 is awesome in form factor and feeling in the hand. The buttons feel good but the D-Pad can be a little clacky. I'm sad about the lack of options for custom firmware, currently, I'm using PlumOS and the experience is good, but I'd rather go with MinUI if it were available. Litnxt has provided a great service and they were very quick and kind when replying to my questions.
Love the build quality on this. Its so portable and small. It's now one of my go to portable devices i carry with me always. Thank you.
The build quality on this thing is amazing. I've had it for several weeks now and I still cant help but stop and admire it every time i go to pick it up.

Yeah, title says it all. I bought it out FOMO and I kinda regret it. It’s still a neat little gadget and if I didn’t already have several others I might’ve enjoyed it better.
I have an original Miyoo Mini... and, it's AMAZING. It's been my go-to for a number of years now. So, when the V4 came out, I was excited. Now that I have one... I'm less-so.
I immediately ran into a problem where the Mini wasn't recognizing any new ROMs. It didn't take long to realize that it wasn't seeing anything that was zipped. So, the simple fix should have been simply unzipping everything and dumping them into the SD card. However, as soon as I did that and attempted to reload/refresh the lists, immediately, NOTHING was found. There would be a brief (1/4 of a second) flash of what looked like file names, which then yielded to a blank list. And not just for the game system I'd attempted to add-to... It affected EVERYTHING. Nothing showed for ROMs, APPS, etc.
Formatting the SD card, even installing a new one wouldn't fix the issue, either. It rebuilds the file tree but won't allow anything to be added to that filesystem. It's just empty file folders, essentially.
I had also ordered the Onion SD card with the Mini. That didn't do much better. The Mini would run the provided unzipped games but wouldn't run ANY of the APPS. The Mini also didn't seem to be able to even SEE a number of the other files that should have allowed me to run the (ostensibly) better Onion OS. And the file system manager wouldn't access a number of the folders/files on the SD card. So... trying out the Onion OS didn't happen.
I went down hours of Reddit and forum rabbit holes and I honestly, deeply regret to say that... none of it worked. Nothing that wasn't already in the pre-installed OS worked, and then ONLY the very first time I popped-in the original SD card provided by LitNXT. No updated themes, no access to advanced Retroarch features, none of it.
Don't get me wrong, when the Mini DID play a game, it did so very well. The screen is beautiful and the buttons feel superb, lacking the obnoxious noise that my original Mini has developed over the years.
Sadly, though... as of now, all I have is a little white brick sitting unused in a corner... and a deep sense of buyer's remorse.
I like the Miyoo mini v4 it’s like a little pocket rocket the only thing I’ve got against it is that I got chunky finger's I could do with a bit more space between the keys. I have to save up for the Miyoo mini plus I got the 256 memory card it has got a great load of games I like I love it👍👍👍
