Warning for anyone buying a Brick, from what I could gather online and from my experience with the one I got, they can come with production defects. I was shipped a unit with pretty bad image retention and am in the slow process of getting it replaced. However, it is a great and portable device on the surface that does everything you need it to. Just keep in mind to test and see if anything is wrong with it when you get one. Litnxt will hopefully help out with any issues.

I played the normal systems growing up: SNES, Sega, PS1, N64, but I am far from a âgamerâ, and Iâm the furthest from a tech guru. I wanted a system I could pick up and play the favorite games of my childhood. This fits the bill perfectly. I didnât have to do any fancy setup or go through complicated menus. I was able to easily navigate the menu and found that nearly all of my favorite games were already on the device. I got the 128gb card (SanDisk, heck yeah), but wish I would have sprang for the 256gb card. There were two games that werenât on the device that I really wanted, but I was able to find the games online and put it on the SD card. No one is more surprised than me that I was able to do it, and that it was so simple (thanks ChatGPT). I would highly recommend getting the grip that the game slides into. It makes playing so much more comfortable, especially games that require the joysticks. Iâve been playing several of my favorites from N64, SNES, and PS1, and although there are some little quirks on some of the N64 games, itâs nothing that keeps me from happily playing for hours.
All that to say that I wouldnât hesitate to buy another one of these tomorrow, and have recommended this site in particular to others to get their own due to the OS and game card. It still baffles me how itâs even possible to have a handheld system with all these games already on it for this price. Itâs amazing. I havenât played video games in 20 years, but now Iâm picking this up every day, even if itâs for 15 minutes, to run through a few levels of Super Mario World.
