I absolutely love my Anbernic RG406V—it's the perfect nostalgia machine, brilliantly combining that classic, comfortable Game Boy vertical form factor with a gorgeous 4-inch screen that makes everything from NES to PS1 look incredible. The build quality feels premium, it's an emulation powerhouse for its intended systems, and it just feels right in your hands. My only wish is that Anbernic would make a more powerful, slightly bigger version of this exact design, because if they did, it would be the undisputed king of retro handhelds.
I've been wanting a way to easily play roms without my laptop catching on fire, and this beautiful little red brick was the answer. Finding those old nostalgia filled classics already installed made my day. The ability to use save states makes saving a quick and easy affair that often is quicker than the in-game saving. All in all, I love it.
I think it's more on me than it's on the company: I thought this would be plug and play, but you have to jump through a lot of hoops to get the games working. I'm a bit disappointed with that, but I have a cousin that can help.
Miyoo Mini Plus Retro Handheld Game Console
The card was well worth the money, and it turns the console into a retro-powerhouse. The Batle Xp is great hardware, and the software works great with it!
