the keycaps are beautiful and sound lovely! my only complaint is that there aren't any extra keys, so if you don't have a 100% keyboard they won't all fit. I've had to mix keycaps around and add one that doesn't match to get everything covered. also there are a couple typos on the legends, but honestly I find that endearing more than anything
The Miyoo Mini feels like the kind of handheld I would have absolutely lost my mind over as a kid: a genuinely tiny, pocketable game system capable of carrying generations of retro games while still feeling like a proper handheld.
The Miyoo Mini feels different because its actually a capable little gaming machine. Able to handle more than it resonably should and it's essentially the fantasy handheld many of us imagined growing up: something barely larger than a deck of cards that can hold an enormous library of classic games, has a beautiful screen, feels good enough to actually use, and can go virtually anywhere. If someone had handed childhood me a Miyoo Mini and explained everything this tiny device could do, I probably would have never graduated highschool lol
This is the 2nd time litnxt has asked me to review a product that hasn’t arrived yet. Ordered 3 weeks ago and the tracking says it’s been under review in customs for 2 weeks. I even paid for the shipping insurance. Contacted customer service and they asked me to be patient but then they keep wanting me to review.
Its a good deal, package is coming a long way and a lot can happen to it. No issues though, my package arrived safe and contents work perfectly.
I received it quite late for an express shipping, but i think it's due to the local carrier in the country. Upon receiving and unboxing, it has no physical issue, everything looks good. Playing on it feels amazing. But i do notice the battery drains really quick, 2-3% in 2mins. Find it a little odd that i need to charge quite often, and also when i boot it up, it has a "sound" and the screen has those straight lines before filling up with the UI. Just something i notice, but overall i still enjoy the little guy a lot with minor inconveniences
